This year’s fabulous menu will be prepared by students in the Delta College Culinary Arts Program under the direction of Chef Mark Berkner.
Students and instructors from the San Joaquin Delta College Culinary Arts Program, Stockton, California, will prepare an elegant dining experience for the Artisan Masters Winemakers Dinner. They’ll be working with the newly formed Slow Food Lodi Chapter to incorporate as many farm fresh and organically grown local foods into our menu as possible.
The culinary program has a reputation for excellence, and the student run restaurant on campus is usually filled to capacity.
The restaurant has a menu that, at first glance, looks like that of any other high-end restaurant with leather binding, elegant fonts, and dishes explained with mouth-watering descriptions.
– Chef Berkner, Delta College culinary art instructor
Students also get experience working with several fundraising gala events during the year, and proceeds from the Artisan Masters Winemakers Dinner will be shared with Delta College for culinary student scholarships and support of the culinary arts program.
